Calculating Proper Regulator Setting
to Maintain Tapped Beer Equilibrium

Crossfire Engineering presents this calculator for the use of all publican, bar and tavern personnal and others responsible for maintaining draught beers and ales at peak taste.
With our long history in the beverage dispensing industry, we know how important it is to maintain the proper pressure on draft beer to maintain its brewery fresh carbonation level.
Too little pressure and the product will loose carbonation and taste flat - too much and it will over carbonate and have an undesirable bite.
Regulator Pressure for Equilibrium

The proper pressure setting is calculated by inputting:
1st.) Enter the VOLUMES of CO2 of keg you are setting up.
2nd.) Input the Average Measured Keg Temperature.

If you cannot find out what your beer's Volume of CO2 is from your supplier, estimate it from the selections below. It should be close enough for average commercial keg serving life.

Select the two paramaters below and press the CALCULATE to have us compute what pressure is best for your beer's style and temperature.
